PARENT TESTIMONIALS

Monday, May 11, 2009

Dear ACA,

The end of this school year is approaching.  We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for what you and ACA have done for our daughter, Jane.  ACA is a great school with great focus on the individual while providing extensive programs of wide range.  We are very happy to have chosen ACA for Jane and very satisfied with what she has accomplished during this past school year.

First of all, we are very impressed by your curriculum based on the Montessori principle.  This educational method gives children freedom to explore and develop at their own individual pace.  Jane has benefited greatly and advanced very well in Math and English.  We do feel very proud of Jane on her great Math accomplishment -  she has started working on multiplication.  In addition to her progress in Math, we are also glad to see what she has achieved in her English language skills.  She can speak fluently, write simple sentences, and even read chapter books now -  a real improvement during this school year!  We much appreciate your dedication and effort.

Secondly, ACA provides a wonderful Math & English curriculum, as well as Science, Art & Crafts, and Spanish programs.  In addition, students enjoy other extracurricular programs, such as Drama, Dance and Sports which make the studies at ACA both fun and challenging!  For example, we were impressed by Jane's song of the World Continents and Oceans which she learned from school.  At such a young age, it is amazing that she has already learned some basic science knowledge, such as rain formation, water condensation and evaporation.  We can tell that she enjoys the school and learning when she sang a song of "one...two...three..." in Spanish.  Thank you very much for spending so much time and effort to make learning fun for the children!

With the recent addition of some culture festivals and science fairs, ACA is really becoming a children's learning and development home full of fun.  We will miss ACA and all of its staff.

Sincerely,

David Wu and Jianyu Yang (Jane's parents)

Dear ACA,

I'm writing this letter to thank you and all of the ACA staff for taking good care of my son, Max.

Our son has thrived at Austin Children's Academy.  We have been very pleased with his academic progress, his social development, and the caring atmosphere of the school.

The mixed age format of the Montessori method has been a real benefit.  The older kids mentor the younger ones at school, and our older son has applied this at home, trying to be a positive role model for our younger son.

The staff is very caring, observant, and attentive.  They are always able to relate the achievements or changes that my son has made.  My son loves his teachers.  Even our younger son, who stays home with his Mom, loves to visit ACA.

ACA also offers a variety of after school programs.  It's very convenient to have these available in the school.  We've participated in several, and both of our sons enjoy them a lot.

Thank you all very much!

-Cindy Raney (Max's mom)
