PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Students at ACA develop fundamental skills that will form the basis of a successful academic career. The curriculum accommodates all children’s progress and strengths, challenging them all and offering flexibility to support different learning styles. The core curriculum includes five distict areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language Arts, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies (Geography, History, Science Music and Art). The prepared enviroment of the Montessori classroom allows children to progress at their own pace to meet their developmental needs.

ACA offers toddler programs for children 18 months to 2½, a creative intermediate primary curriculum for children ages 2½ to 3, and primary programs including Pre-K to Kindergarten for children ages 3 to 6 years. The Montessori Method encourages mixing the age groups, incorporating individual and group instruction and providing diverse cultural studies that enable students to learn about celebrations and customs from around the world. At ACA, the academic experience is enriched by specialty programs such as Gymnastics, Dance, Yoga and Physical Eduaction.
